Nursery Practitioner - Finchley Central, London Salary: 20,000 per annum depending on experience/qualifications The Company Our client is a privately owned and family run, registered childrens day nursery located in a quiet residential street in Finchley Central, London. The nursery is within walking distance of the beautiful grounds of Avenue House, Victoria Park and Finchley Central underground station. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work with under 2s who is enthusiastic, outgoing and bubbly. They will need to be highly committed in providing children with the very best care and stimulation. The successful candidate will also have to be keen to progress and develop their own knowledge and skills. Role Responsibilities: To support childrens learning using Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and parental aspirations Planning, observing and assessing children in your care Record keeping Assisting with meal/snack times Ensuring health and safety/safeguarding standards are met Interacting with parents and updating them on childs progress Liaising with external professionals Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 1 year Childcare NVQ level 3 childcare and education or higher A First Aid qualification (preferred) A firm understanding of the EYFS framework Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
