Overview
MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company, who are new to their industry and currently expanding. We are looking for candidates with groundwork and building experience. The role would see you carrying out general groundworks, assisting skilled workers and building bespoke products on site. The role ·Candidates should have experience of working outside in all conditions ·Assisting tradesman and skilled workers while on site ·Carrying out general groundwork duties including p roviding installation of new duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment and clearing blockages in the highway. ·Using a range of hand tools including, hammers, saws, drills, wacker plates, trench compactors and chainsaws ·Following build diagrams and reading schematics and translating them into a finished product ·Dealing with bespoke products and able to adapt to different environments ·General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy ·Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader The Person ·Flexible attitude to working hours and must be able to work away ·Experience of hand tools or the ability to build items from scratch or by following instructions ·Should have ability to operate within a team, or individually ·Must have previous experience of working outside and on sites ·Idealy have certs in 360 excavator ops card, First Aid, CSCS Card, NRSWA/Street works card, C at & Genny, Abrasive wheels training, ·Experience of using digging equipment and tickets would be advantageous This is a permanent position with the opportunity to progress in an ever-growing company.
