Key Account Manager | Fresh Produce | Home-based We are currently working with a well regarded, multi-faceted business that supply into the horticultural and fresh produce sectors. Based in the South of the country, they are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to help them with their varied portfolio of customers. They have highlighted that they have a number of core businesses which warrant having more direct contact and are looking for someone with a good understanding of the fresh produce (ideally salads) sector. The Job: You will be working closely with some of their bigger customers, ensuring that their varied needs are managed appropriately and effectively. The role will be more of a commercially focussed role, but it will help you to have a broader understanding of the industry. Working closely with the Sales Director to ensure the business' strategy is put to best effect. The Candidate: You will be commercially focussed but possess a good awareness of the other areas involved in produce growing and marketing. You will be a good self-starter and won't need someone pushing you to get things done. You will need to be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a wider team. Good presentation and communication skills will be essential. You will be dealing with some of the largest accounts of the business so this will have a very big impact.
