Relief Support Worker
Overview
We are looking to recruit Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support staff in Truro to support people with learning disabilities. The people we support have various needs ranging from mild to high needs, as a Support Worker you will ensure their well-being and provide personal care as and when required. 8 people currently live in this registered care home you will be working in. They all have varying needs, personalities, likes and dislikes so no day is the same. Day to day tasks will include, assisting the people we support to be as independent as possible yet providing encouragement with household chores, cooking, grocery shopping and understanding their finances. This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for a relaxed, friendly environment to work in. The best thing is anyone can do it, as long as you have positive mindset and attentive at all times.
