Chemical & Analytical Lab Technician

We are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to work in our clients Chemical and Analytical Technology Department in Kettering. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out routine testing to standard procedures within an accredited laboratory environment. The successful applicant will also be expected to calculate and record results and observations in an understandable manner. Full training will be provided, although previous laboratory experience is desirable. Candidates must have GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths and at least one science subject at Grade C or above and be familiar with MS Word and Excel. The successful candidate will be expected to work to deadlines, to produce accurate, detailed results and also be able to work independently and as part of the laboratory team. Flexibility, tenacity and a ‘can-do attitude’ are key requisites of the role.
