Due to our continued expansion we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to supporting vulnerable adults with a Learning disability and other complex needsto join our brand new supported living service in Druids Heath, Birmingham. The role: Working 42 hours per week on a flexible shift system the successful Team Leader will support the Management team in the day to day running of the service, supervising and developing the staff team to ensure that the needs of the service user are met and enabling them to maintain their tenancy and lead a meaningful and worthwhile life within the community. Ensuring that the service exceeds the standards set by CQC. Other duties will include reviewing care plans and risk assessments, acting as a keyworker and taking part in meetings with professionals and the service users families. Experience/Qualifications : You will have previous experience working within a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people with a learning disability and or a mental health illness and complex needs and hold NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualifcation. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, self-disciplined and thrive on being able to work to high standards.
