Overview

A well-respected King's Lynn Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join their successful business. One of your main tasks would be to manage and maintain the compliance and administration of their Health & Safety, quality and environmental accreditations. In this integral role, you would chair meetings, liaise with the management committee, update documentation, conduct audits and perform weekly checks. For this diverse position, you would also support the Production Manager by acting as a focal point for external contractors, customer complaints and SAP weight, measures and packaging requirements. You will need to have excellent administration I.T skills alongside experience of Health & Safety, environmental and quality accreditations in a manufacturing environment. The ability to suggest improvements from highlighted issues and solve problems using your initiative are also essential elements for this position. As a Health & Safety Coordinator your duties would include; Manage and maintain the company's Health & Safety accreditations compliance. Update colleagues/management through reports and meetings. Complete paperwork, administration and site audit checks. Coordinate contractors, complaints and SAP requirements. The ideal Health & Safety Coordinator would have; Health & Safety experience and qualifications. A working understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 AND BS OHSAS18001. Strong administration and I.T skills. Work unsupervised and raise non- compliance risk assessments. A can-do attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills Health & Safety Coordinator In return, you would receive a salary of between £20,000 to £25,000 dependant on your skills and experience. Your working week would be Monday to Friday 8 am till 4 pm. You receive 26 days holiday plus bank holidays; there are a Christmas and Summer shutdown.
