Our East London site consists of over 6,700m2 of high-quality, modern pharmaceutical plants where we mix, fill, sterilise, inspect, pack and label a wide range of medicines. The facilities are a short walk from Harold Wood train station and just 35 minutes from Central London (Liverpool Street Nation Rail Station). Our site has excellent road links via the A12 and junction 28 of the M25. We are now looking to recruit a QA Team Leader to join us in our Quality Assurance department in Romford. Main Responsibilities and Duties We are looking for a Team Leader who will supervise the Quality Assurance Officer team and oversee the quality of the entire product journey from raw materials through to finished products. You will be working in partnership with Quality Systems Department in order to develop the Pharmaceutical Quality System whilst identifying the areas for improvement. You will be generating the departmental KPIs as required by the business and responsible for ensuring that all staff will be trained and aware of the importance of data integrity and GMP. Providing motivation and coaching you will help to develop the team to achieve effective performance standards and personal growth. Experience and Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level preferable with a degree (chemistry, microbiology or pharmacy) A minimum of three years' experience working within a Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Previous experience of leading a team Sound understanding of the European regulatory framework and current guidelines relating to the manufacture and supply of medicines including drugs. Highly Desirable: Hosted regulatory GMDP audits Green belt or higher award in Lean Six Sigma Understanding of US Regulatory guidelines and product licencing processes Prior experience of working to GMP and GDP standards within the pharmaceutical or similar industry
