Overview
A multidisciplinary consultancy are seeking a dedicated Arboricultural Consultant for a fixed term contract position. This position is based in the Sheffield are and this company offering a wide variety of services such as Environmental, Planning, and Landscape with an ever-growing client base. As Arboricultural Consultant you will be working as part of the wider Landscape team and utilising your specialist knowledge in giving advice and support on a wide range of projects. You will also be involved in the planning process as well and completing surveys and reports. You will be working on exciting projects both large and small scale including woodland, rural, domestic, commercial, brownfield and urban sites. This company can offer support and training for a more junior individual as well as more senior individuals with the potential for a permanent position and future progression or development opportunities. Arboricultural Consultant Position Overview Involved in surveying work on small and large scale sites Attend site visits as required Liaising with clients and local authorities Involved in planning stages and overseeing works as well as delivering reports Involved in Management Plans, Arboricultural Surveys to BS 5837:2012, Visual Tree Assessment (VTA), Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements Arboricultural Consultant Position Requirements Qualified within Arboriculture or relevant subject Previous industry experience ideal Keep up to date with government legislation including Tree Preservation Orders and Trees in Conservation Area Solid understanding of planning policy's Highly numerate and literate Full clean driver license Arboricultural Consultant Position Remuneration Salary starting from £25K per annum and negotiable depending on experience level Flexible working available Holiday package Pension scheme Company benefits to be discussed during interview We, Bennett and Game Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
