Overview
A small friendly engineering company based in Bicester are now looking for a Stock and Inventory Co-ordinator to join their team on a Full Time Permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to organise, plan and manage all processes and activity relating to stock control and inventory within the Bicester based workshop and office. Duties include but not limited to Stock management Check deliveries against stock orders and where necessary record discrepancies in the Stock System. Ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed receipting delivery of goods. Create shipping documents such as packing lists, invoices, certificates of origin and export licences etc. Maintain and update the Cumberland spare parts database Manage a twice yearly stock audit Manage the purchase of consumables as requested/required. Monitor individual adherence to all aspects of safe working in the workshop. With QA Manager, carry out regular audits to ensure safe working and to maintain agreed standards of housekeeping in the Workshop Experience Required Knowledge and hands on experience of stock management disciplines in a small company Computer literate in Office, particularly Excel Preferably skill and experience in managing a computerised stock system Practical mind set and inclination In return you will be offered a competitive salary, other benefits will include 20 days basic holiday plus further loyalty days linked to service, a paid sickness entitlement scheme, death in service benefit of 4 x basic salary and private single medical insurance cover.
