Corporate Tax Director

Our client is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Director to join the rapidly expanding team at the firm’s office in Ascot. This is a well-established, multi office firm of accountants with enviable reputation, that continues to go from strength to strength, hence the need to recruit at this level. Reporting to the Tax Partner, the Corporate Tax Director will have the following key responsibilities: Control all aspects of the preparation and execution of engagements for clients including meetings Meeting with clients to understand their affairs and build relationships, dealing with all queries as they arise Undertake advisory work and appropriate tax planning Keep engagement Partner adequately informed of progress on engagements Supervise the team and review the work of junior members Manage own portfolio, allocate work and monitor resource requirements Prepare invoices and monitor time on engagements to ensure a commercial return for the business Develop and maintain a personal network of contacts and represent the firm at external networking events Effectively apply your experience when dealing with clients and HMRC We welcome applications from candidates who can satisfy the following criteria: Be qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA with a minimum of five years’ corporate tax experience, gained within a UK practice Be fully conversant in corporate tax, share options schemes, R&D claims, EIS and SEIS, capital allowances, business reconstructions and demergers tax advisory for selling a business Have advanced skills in MS Office and preferably some experience of CCH Personal tax and VAT exposure would be advantageous Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Be a driver with own car This dynamic firm will offer the successful candidate a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, a friendly, supportive working environment and opportunity for career progression.
