Overview

Marsh Commercial is currently seeking candidates for the following position based in the Carlisle office: Personal Lines Account Handler The Personal Lines Account Handler will be responsible for managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products, mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from their dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner ensuring client satisfaction throughout. This position would suit either an experienced Personal Lines Account Handler looking for a new challenge in a new role or an experienced Administrator with client facing experience looking for a career in Insurance team within an established, market leading insurance broker. Ensure all requests from clients are dealt with promptly, correctly and efficiently within Marsh Commercial’s regulatory guidelines for compliance. Building relationships with our panel of insurers to ensure the client receive the best terms and price for their policy. To gather all relevant information & documentation from the clients on their policy, levels of cover and pertinent exclusions in relation to the renewal queries being presented. To ensure the production of required documentation and the processing of renewal policies is met within Marsh Commercial guidelines. To ensure a pronounced emphasis is on the retention of existing customers and growing each portfolio through developing excellent client relationships, this includes obtaining referrals and cross-selling. Ensure all files are maintained and updated with all document, email and telephone exchanges. What you need to have: Previous experience within a broker or Insurance environment working within a similar capacity is ideal however experienced "client facing" administrators may be considered Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and organisational skills Good written and oral communication skills What makes you stand out: Competent in the use of Acturis broking system is desirable Cert CII or studying towards it About Marsh Commercial We are Marsh Commercial, a diverse community of colleagues, serving a diverse community of clients with insurance, risk management and employee health and benefits advice and solutions.
