Trainee Buyer £9-£9.60 (£19,000-£22,000 when perm) Braintree, Essex Temporary to Permanent role Do you have excellent Administrative experience and are looking for a new, exciting opportunity with an inspiring market-leader? Pursuit Resources Group are looking to recruit for the position of a Trainee Buyer, based in Braintree, Essex. Successful candidates will assist in purchasing activities within the buying team to ensure that all materials and equipment are on-site in a timely and efficient manner. They will work closely with other integral departments your communication skills, ability to prioritise and deliver is essential. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for assisting the Buyers and accurate record-keeping within the buying team. The main responsibilities for the job include: Assisting the Buying department, you will provide full support and assistance within the team. Liaising with suppliers, planning teams, operations managers and site teams, ensuring information is accurately communicated in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring all materials and equipment are delivered to sites within the required time frame. Working closely with the planning team to procure the correct materials required. Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, and database Accurately upload and update information on in house databases. Raising Purchase orders, cross-checking of invoices and querying differences. Continuous Improvement and implementation of project work to enhance a consistently evolving department Our client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills and experience: Essential- Strong administrational and organisational skills. Experience of using MS Office including strong Excel ability. Proven experience of offering a high level of customer service. Preferred- Ideally educated to A-Level - including Mathematics. Desire to pursue a career within procurement with a focus on personal development. Experience within an office environment, ideally within a procurement department.
