Python Developer / Software Engineer (Django Web REST API). UX and Design agency based in Shoreditch is seeking a tech-driven Python Developer to work on an exciting range of projects. You'll work alongside a high energy team of talented technologists who genuinely love what they do, delivering exceptional products to household-name clients. In this Python Developer role, you'll play a critical role in defining and driving internal standards, powering innovation with the latest technologies to ensure standards of technical excellence are met and maintained. You'll work with up-to-the-minute technologies, predominantly using Python and Django on the backend with REST APIs to design and develop bespoke web-based systems for a key core product. This Python Developer role is ideal for someone looking for an opportunity to take ownership of their work in a current, dynamic development environment. Requirements: You have strong experience with Python web frameworks (Django preferred) and experience of writing tests You have a good understanding of Design Patterns and Data Structures You have hands-on experience of developing REST APIs as part of a microservice architecture You have knowledge of how to write scalable performant applications You're positive and tech-driven, keen to keep pace with emerging technologies and enhance your skills Desirable: experience with AWS / cloud platforms, knowledge of functional languages such as Elixir, experience with RabbitMQ / Kafka As a Python Developer you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £65k) plus a comprehensive benefits package, including top of the range tech to work with, flexible work opportunities, monthly entertainment budget and more.
