Overview

Are you looking for a new position in a Crisis Team? Would you be available on a regular basis for full or part time work? Band 6 Crisis Practitioner - Derby - 3 Months I am looking for Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker with significant mental health experience required for a Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team in Derby. The position is full-time working, 37.5 hours on a shift basis as the service runs on a 24/7 basis. There are Days and Nights available in Derby, but flexibility is required for the role. Increased Rates of Pay due to demand: Days: £24.00 (ltd company equivalent) per hour. Night/Sat: £30.00 (ltd company equivalent) per hour Sun/Bank Hol: £37.00 (ltd company equivalent) per hour Responsibilities: • To manage crisis cases, provide duty cover and provide short term crisis interventions. • To perform general and risk assessments in diagnosing and treating complex mental health issues. • To work effectively as part of a MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and liaise with other mental healthcare professionals. Person Specification: • Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or qualified Social Worker who is currently registered with the NMC or HCPC. • Proven experience working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc. • Must be an effective and responsible lone worker, capable of organising own workload.
