React JS Developer

An exciting new job opportunity for a React JS Developer contract based in Swindon, £350 - £400 VAT per day £350 - £400 VAT per day 3-month contract (In-scope of IR35) Swindon, Wiltshire UK Your new company Working in partnership with universities, charities and businesses, we are an established research organisation with operations across the whole UK. We work tirelessly to ensure innovation can flourish. As a business we are always looking to develop and expand. We are embarking on a project to develop a new application to connect our employee data and organise into one easy to use application. Therefore, we are now recruiting for a React JS Software Developer to deliver the front end of this exciting new application. Your new role You will join the development team to embark on this exciting project and play a key part in the development of the front end UX code using React.js within JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You will build restful webservices and mobile applications. These applications will provide an efficient solution to the users and customers of our organisation allowing for our incredible work to flourish. You will write and perform unit and automated tests whilst maintaining clear documentation. You will collaborate in Agile Scrum planning with the team and help to maintain a culture of continuous improvement and quality. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be confident in JavaScript, HTML and CSS, have a knowledge of databases and have experience in test driven development. You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. String communication and interpersonal skills will lead to your success in this role.
