Leading firm in Middlesex seeks an experienced Family/Childcare Solicitor on a full-time, permanent basis. Solicitors with Childcare Panel membership are sought for a fast-growing practice in Esher. The successful candidate will handle a demanding caseload of care matters, whilst providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities • Special guardianship • Representing parents and relatives in care proceedings • Care and supervision orders • Emergency protection orders • Child abduction • Pre-proceeding meetings • Adoption • Liaising with the local authority and social services • Divorce • Ancillary relief • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements • Domestic violence The Candidate • Solicitors with at least five years’ PQE • Solid experience in family and childcare matters gained within a reputable firm • Membership of the Law Society’s Childcare Panel is essential • Experience of running own caseload and acting with autonomy • Experience of marketing and building caseload • Advocacy skills are essential • Procedural and technical competence The Firm Established for nearly a century, this medium-sized, full practice firm with a dozen offices across Greater London offers a cost-effective but City-level service.
