Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurses/CAMHS Practitioners to fill a job role in Derbyshire. The candidate will be required to work within a Children's Emergency Department. Our NHS Client are looking for Community Mental Health Nurses/CAMHS Practitioners to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm). The pay rate of this role is at £23 per hour (umbrella rate), and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension. Requirements and details of this CPN/RMN/CAMHS vacancy: - We are looking for candidates who have a significant understanding of mental health/CAMHS practices within the NHS. - The post holder will work with children and young people in assessing and treating their mental health difficulties. - The post holder will be responsible for delivering IAPT compliant C&YP interventions in line with national guidelines and adhere to the DH National Programme and session by session outcome measures. - The post holder will act as a role model to assist in the embedding of outcome measures (ROM)and outcome orientated practice in the team. - The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary pathway team (MDT) for children and young people who present with severe mental illness, acute and complex presentations including mental health concerns who have traditionally found it difficult to access service (i.e. looked after children, young offenders, young people with alcohol and substance issues). - In accordance with national and local priorities, and clinical guidelines the post holder will be responsive to the needs and views of local children, young people and their families. - Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist who is currently registered with the NMC/HCPC. - Proven experience working in CAMHS. - Must be an effective and responsible lone worker, capable of organising own workload.
