Job Description Due to continuing growth, I now have a requirement for an Intermediary Monitoring Officer to join our Distribution team on a permanent basis. This is a field based role where the individual will be covering a territory predominantly of the North West, and London. It is expected that this individual will attend our Intermediary sites at least 3 days per week. The successful individual will support the delivery of a proactive Intermediary testing and assessment framework. Key Responsibilities Support the Monitoring Manager in delivering large intermediary assessments; Independently conduct desk and field based Intermediary assessments; Record and relay information to the Central team for analysis; Help to grow a culture of risk awareness within the Intermediary relations teams by actions taken; Help to maintain the departmental RCSA, by regularly reviewing results and output with Management Team; Support the delivery of the monthly IOP risk forum meeting by providing all required monitoring output, alongside any commentary and/or root cause analysis; Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the Intermediary Oversight team output; Foster and maintain strong working relationships with Key stakeholders both inside and external to the business; Support with ad-hoc deep dive reviews when required; Work closely with the wider Intermediary Oversight Team to support work being completed collaboratively. Qualifications Essential Experience Ability to deliver information to a variety of audiences and differing levels using varying approaches; Organisational, time and resource management; Some knowledge of Mortgage/Intermediary market; Able to undertake independent risk based assessments; Able to apply logic to a risk based approach throughout all activities; Able to build working relationships effectively; Computer literate (including MS Excel and Word); Stakeholder Management skills; Verbal and numerical reasoning; Problem solving; Analytical. Candidates who can demonstrate the below will be given further consideration: Previous experience in a Compliance/Risk monitoring roles; Knowledge of relevant regulations (desirable but not essential); Strong analytical skills; Relevant CeMAP or equivalent qualification; In-depth knowledge of the Intermediary network.
