Overview
Position: Financial Controller Salary: £50 - 60k Per Annum Location: Bolton The Employer A vibrant Contruction business is looking to add to their senior leadership team with the addition of a Financial Controller. The business is an SME and has a fantastic reputation within their market. The role Working closely with the board of directors, the Financial Controller will work hands-on with full responsibility for all aspects of the company’s accounting and finances including managing a small team of accounting staff. Key to the role is managing the preparation of effective and timely management accounts and supporting information plus further development of operational systems, KPI’s, procedures and controls in the finance department, together with commercial input and key stakeholder relationships. Experience Required You must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACA OR ACCA) and has some experience working in the capacity of a Financial Controller with a high level of ability in managing a Finance team. Please note that sector knowledge ideally within the SME arena would be desirable but this is not essential.
