Consolidations Accountant - £40,000 to £45,000 Benefits Your new company Your new organisation is an established government body. Your new role This role is being offered on a 2 year fixed term contract with the potential to be made permanent after that period. This is a key hire and you will support the production of year end consolidated accounts for the organisations various bodies and also support with the production of whole annual accounts. Key duties ; - Assist with the compilation of consolidated accounts at year end, this will include liaising with departments and preparing their accounts & relevant audit trail Perform initial review of designated bodies year end accounts Uploading designated bodies accounts using consolidation tool This is a role which is going to suit a strong technical accountant who is CCAB qualified. The successful candidate will gain plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders throughout the organisation from day one. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you`ll be a strong technical accountant, ideally with year end consolidations experience. If you do not possess consolidations experience but you have a strong financial reporting background in the public sector, this could also be considered. You will need to have strong attention to detail and be comfortable with complex accounting environments.
