Overview

If you feel you are a highly motivated and passionate community psychiatric nurse with experience in working with in a community setting and you wish to progress in your career to succeed in a new challenge this could be an excellent an opportunity you may not want to pass you by We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic community psychiatric nurse to join a dedicated community mental health team were you will be required to carry a case-load of working age adults. The case-load is a mix between psychosis and non-psychosis service users, these patients mainly experience schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders. You will use your experience to provide the highest quality care you can to those who will rely on your help. As part of this role you will also be required to carry out therapeutic interventions, so experience in CBT therapies would be ideal. This role is for a minimum period of 2 months with a high chance of extension. The successful community psychiatric nurse will begin working as soon as possible. The role is full time with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, shifts can be worked on a flexible basis. We would be happy to accept a band 5 or band 6 for this role with experience in using RIO if possible. The role is based in Jarrow.
