Overview
Resident Medical Officer | Flexible shifts | Surgical | Bushey We have a new opportunity for a Resident Medical Officer to join our clients experienced team. We are looking for someone to commit a minimum of 3 shifts per month. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced Consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload. Training and development is available to allow you to broaden your experience and expand your career within the hospital. The hospital receives a high level of cases through Theatres on a daily basis, often averaging 50/60 in a day, you will be strongly encouraged to influence improvements and change across the department to support this level of activity. The hospital offers a premium service in key areas of complex healthcare including orthopaedics, neurology, cardiac care, and gynaecology. Duties and responsibilities To be part of a team providing 24 hour medical cover for all routine medical care and response to consultant requests. Immediate first line resuscitation to patients, visitors or staff member as required. To assist in the management of patients and provide back-up support to consultants. To undertake a daily morning and evening ward-round including High Dependency/ Intensive Care Unit with a member of the nursing team ensuring all patients are visited.
