We now have an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Chemistry Assistant Analyst based from our Countess Wear site in Exeter. What will you be doing? As a Chemistry Assistant Analyst, you will undertake chemical analysis associated with the Company's activities and associated commercial contracts. You will maintain adequate laboratory records as required by the company and the UKAS system. You will plan your daily workload with support of Analytical Team Leaders and Section Leaders and adhere to the requirements of the UKAS Quality Policy as described in the Quality Manual. You'll ensure that you comply with Health and Safety Codes of Practice at all times. The successful Chemistry Assistant Analyst will participate in a stand-by rota for provision of an emergency service out of hours as required. What do you need? Experience of working within a scientific environment Minimum of an A level in Chemistry Experience working on own initiative and as part of a team Awareness of Health and Safety in a laboratory environment Well-motivated and highly organised with a methodical approach to workload Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) What can South West water do for you?
