Overview

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer. We are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to be based in Stoke-on-Trent. Role and Duties: • Stripping/Repairing Pumps and Gearboxes. • Faultfinding automated transport systems. • Faultfinding electro-pneumatic systems. • Robot program adjustments. • PLC modifications. • Minor electrical installations. • Site maintenance. • Fabrication/Welding. • Fault finding proportional hydraulic systems. • Fault finding 3 phase motor control circuits. Experience: • Trained & certificated in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, but with experience of both disciplines. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an automated production environment. • Good working knowledge of fluid power systems. • Experience of working with robotic systems. • Experience of working shifts. • Experience of PPM scheduling. Additional Person Skills: • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Strong organization skills • Able to work on own initiative • Good team skills Hours of work: Continental Shifts, 3 on, 3 off based on a 12 hour shift.
