You will either be an experienced executive or analyst in a functional customer-facing area who has a track record of undertaking similar work, or you will be a sharp analyst who has succeeded in improving performance using data effectively elsewhere. You will have an eye for detail which is second to none, keen understanding of data science and how to work with large complex datasets, be an excel rock star, and ideally be proficient in at least one advanced analytical package. Responsibilities as our Analytics Manager: - Develop and undertake analysis which helps us improve the cost and quality of operational performance, including but not limited to tools, dashboards, and narrative reports - Ownership, development, and delivery of all operational performance reporting (focussing on Operational KPI’s) - Development, automation and ownership of market leading MI/insight packs, bringing together all elements of a member journey - Interface with operational leaders in the organisation to help understand their needs in developing analysis - Interface with all other analytical teams, business intelligence teams, IT teams, and others, and own the entire end to end process from defining required analysis to delivery - Hold accountability for the validity, clarity, effectiveness, and integrity of Life operations reporting - Lead end to end analysis on the performance and quality of the work our agents and call team do - Support non-analytical teams with interpretation and decision-making based on analytic work To become our Analytics Manager, you will have the below skills and experience: Essential - Impeccable analytics, including excellent SQL, VBA, Excel - Effective communication of complex analytical concepts and results including word and PPT report preparation where required - Experience of using variable data sets to yield credible, effective insights - Python or similar big data programing languages - Previous experience with operational analytics Desirable - Experience with operational wellness analytics - A proven understanding of or interest in the UK Life system Closing Date: Tuesday 31st March 2020 Working for Vitality , you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
