Overview
Our client is a professional business with a history of staff retention and a great business model. They are now looking to add a Credit Controller to their team in a newly created position and a role that will be exciting and give immense job satisfaction. Reporting in to the Credit Manager your duties will include; Taking responsibility for chasing debt and ensuring that low debtor days are maintained Managing key accounts and ensuring that relationships are managed professionally and effectively Working to monthly targets Handling and resolving queries as and when appropriate and escalating if necessary Visiting clients on site from time to time Assessing credit risk, credit checking and monitoring limits for existing clients Producing weekly and monthly aged debtor reports Maintaining sales ledger and occasionally allocating cash in the absence of the full-time incumbent Ad hoc duties The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and will manage the accounts carefully and diligently. Previous experience of credit control is essential and the ability to manage a busy workload whilst ensuring that best practice is adhered to. A good understanding of Excel is essential alongside experience of accountancy systems is also key to the success of this role.
