Overview
Mechanical Technician - Intro AD Energy recruitment is currently working with a growing name within the Energy from Waste market across the UK. Due to plant improvement works, we are currently looking for a new Mechanical Technician to join the business on a permanent basis. Mechanical Technician - Role Provide support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills The Mechanical Technician will assist in the co-ordinate of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. You'll also ensure that all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System is effective and followed through to completion promptly Mechanical Technician - Background The ideal candidate will come from an Operational background Experience in power plants such as Energy from Waste, Coal, Oil & Gas etc Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) - Possess appropriate Mechanical qualifications such as a City & Guilds / NVQ / recognised apprenticeship - Understanding of Environmental and Health & Safety issues Mechanical Technician - Package £28,000 - £32,000 DOE £1800 On-call retainer Monday to Friday day shift only - 8:00 - 16:30 OT 30 days annual leave Pension Private Medical Progression Opportunities
