Confident and charismatic individual required to provide fundraising and admin support for a local charity Your new company Are you looking for a role where the work that you do will make a real difference to local people's lives? My client is a local charity who are looking for a dynamic and organised individual to assist them with their community fundraising and provide administration support. This is a dual role with a lot of variety and would suit someone that is looking for an a new challenge. Your new role Fundraiser Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with local supporters, companies and organisations to organise and generate funding opportunities Facilitating event planning meetings and sending out marketing required for events Identify new sources of funding, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the activity Prepare reports on your activities as required by your line manager Prioritise tasks to ensure maximum return on investment of your time and resources Good level of understanding of Fundraising and/or Sales/Marketing/Business Development ideally within Charity/Not for Profit sector Administration Responsibilities Maintaining in house spreadsheets, databases and offering general administrative support to the team Replying to fundraising queries where necessary by email, telephone and post. Keeping the organisation databases up to date with new information Create and send out mail shots Data input using SAGE software, managing petty cash and completing the banking preparation What you'll need to succeed The ability to deal with diverse individuals, groups and organisations Fantastic communication skills both written and verbally Organised, motivated and disciplined In addition, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach. Some local travel is required; therefore, candidates must have access to their own transport. What you'll get in return We are looking for a candidate who can work 24 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm. In addition to a competitive salary and free parking you will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
