Node Developer, Holborn, Large eCommerce Retailer, £80,000 10% Bonus Benefits This is a great opportunity to join a well known organisation in the heart of London where you will get the chance to make a huge difference on the technological state of the organisation. The team are using the latest JavaScript technologies to make improvements on existing features as well as creating new greenfield products. As the Node Developer you will be working in close Agile teams where you will be collaborating with development, testing and design teams. The team are looking for a strong JavaScript Developer who has full focus on the backend, any experience with modern js frameworks on the front end such as; React, Vue or Angular will be a bonus. Responsibilities as the Node Developer: Develop tools and applications by producing clean, maintainable code Own and support the features produced throughout the entire lifecycle Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to achieve business requirements Identify and suggest potential areas for improvement Coach and mentor junior and mid-level engineers Actively participate in the team’s ceremonies and initiatives Skills needed as the Node Developer: Extensive experience creating and consuming REST APIs using Node.js Excellent understanding of JavaScript / ES6 Experience writing unit and integration tests Good understanding of cloud-based development (preferably using AWS) Familiarity and understanding of CI / CD Excellent communication and collaboration skills If you are an experienced Node js Developer looking for new opportunities, get in touch now This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89934809
