Java Developer Spencer Scott are in partnership with a booming technology company in the FinTech space who are looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Java Developer. They’re looking for a Java Developer that has a modern technology skill-set and importantly somebody with a passion for learning. The kind of Java Developer these guys enjoy will embrace the idea of thinking around corners and solving challenging problems through the use of machine and deep learning and best software engineering practices. An insight to the technical environment: The team use Java 8-12 in their large-scale systems and modern Microservices. They’re experimenting and modernising their platform with new tech like Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Kakfa, Akka, Apigee, Ansible and Google Cloud Platform. They’re adopting Agile/XP practices like pairing, TDD, BDD, incremental delivery and continuous improvement. Each area is supported by a Team Lead, a Development Manager, a Technical Architect and a Product Owner to help guide you through your work and keep the backlog up to date The Java Developer who lands the role will be introduced to a world-class training and education plan tailored towards personal development and growth and one which has helped them to develop their engineering environment into what’s broadly known as one of the best in London.
