Principal Data Engineer Central London Permanent- Competitive Salary RTM are recruiting on behalf of our major Financial Services client based in their iconic offices in Central London. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principle Data Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The team are adopting a Cloud-first approach and you will be directly responsible for Design and Delivery of robust, high-performing and scalable Cloud-based solutions for loading, transforming and processing Enterprise data. The organisation is moving to a modern Cloud-based architecture and so are ideally seeking experience of working with Azure Operating Model, essentially with Azure Databricks or Spark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, DevOps and strong programming skills in Python. This role is a heavily data focused, data management type role where knowledge of data- management principles are fundamental. As well as producing clear documentation on technical solutions, you will be supporting and guiding a small team of engineers (25% of role) The organisation has many projects in the pipeline so are keen to have a Senior/Principal Data Engineer join the team as soon as possible.
