A market-leading cyber security firm, based in central London, are seeking a Technical Consultant to help implement and deliver solutions to blue chip and global clients. The company This consistently growing cyber security organisation have amassed a vast number of high-profile clients over the past 10 years. You’ll be joining a London team of 150 and an engineering team of over 25 to assist in integrating cutting-edge security solutions that use artificial intelligence and other ground-breaking tech. Technical Consultant role As a Technical Consultant, you’ll be involved in technical integration work, meeting clients in person and liaising with the software team to ensure that their clients are utilising the security technology in the best way possible. You’ll be working across multiple projects, acting as a subject matter expert; designing, deploying and documenting solutions; providing training sessions and support to customers during delivery and more. Working with the engineering team as well as product management teams you’ll have a profound impact on the roadmaps and future direction of products, with the business welcoming new ideas and different ways to grow. You’ll be producing high-level design diagrams as to how systems interact, in order to assess how projects can be successfully implemented. There may be a small element of hands on work too using Java, REST APIs and security technologies. Skills A background in software engineering and Java, ideally utilising REST APIs and Spring Boot Client facing ability and be happy to work on client site or remotely Experience with fraud or security technologies Good communicational skills and strong written English Other experience that would standout Cybersecurity specifically Industry regulations (PSD2 SCA, Open-Banking etc.) Industry standards (OpenID Connect, Oauth, SAML, OATH, RADIUS) Network protocols and security, cryptography, databases Initially, you’ll be working remotely, however following the Covid-19 pandemic you’ll be working onsite in their London-based office or onsite with clients (most of which are also central-London based). They’ve got a fantastic benefits package including health/life insurance, stock options and various other useful extras with a new package that came in this year (and that’s constantly being upgraded). The salary for this role is offering in the range of £80,000 - £110,000 , but may stretch for someone who has absolutely spot-on experience.
