Electric Systems Architecture Engineer

Electric Systems Architecture Engineer KDC are currently seeking a Systems Engineer for one of the global leaders in aeronautics, space and defence. Job Specification: The role involves working as the Landing Gear representative within the study of integration of electrical actuation into the overall aircraft architecture for a large civil aircraft. Reporting to both Project & Technical Leaders to deliver R&T projects to Time, Cost and Quality. Individual is expected to seek, scope and drive new technological breakthroughs that can contribute and shape the future of Landing Gear Systems and Aircraft. Key skills and competencies: • Project experience and running projects • Experience of electric drives • Aircraft system development • experience of electro mechanical actuation The successful candidate would be expected to work a 35 hour week at an hourly rate of £40 /hr Ltd Company. The initial length of this contract is for 9 months with an expectation it may be extended . This role will work with assumption that it will be Inside IR35 Legislation. The successful candidate will have the chance to travel to other sites in Europe once a month.
