New vacancy just in - Salary up to £50,000 Excellent Pension Generous Leave Plymouth Working as part of an experienced engineering team on a major tank farm rebuild, this is an excellent opportunity to be be part of a team that works on engineering projects on multiple sites across the UK. Previous experience of tank farm projects plus COMAH and CDM regs knowledge will be essential for this role. You will act as technical Lead for Mechanical aspects for the client Projects team in Plymouth. You will ensure all Mechanical Engineering activities associated with delivery of the a tank rebuild project. Ensuring compliance with company standards and UK / European legislation. You will be responsible for all Mechanical Engineering activities within the Capital Projects Team and/or engineering works associated with Capital Project delivery at any one time, the job entails overseeing professional contract engineers or consultant companies, who conduct engineering activities on various Capital Projects on behalf of the company. There will be a need to build strong credible working relationships with all internal stakeholders and in particular other members of the delivery team, including HSSEQ, other Engineering colleagues as well as with external stakeholders including our O&M Contractor, HSE, EA and our MOD Sponsors Qualifications for this position Mechanical Engineering degree Previous tank farm project experience desirable Previous experience of COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations.
