Overview
Our client based in Milton Keynes are seeking enthusiastic and experienced operatives for its chilled warehousing business, which provides an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures. They offer long term opportunities to enhance and develop your skills and experience This is a great opportunity to work in a fast pace environment using new MHE such as VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Reach Trucks, Counter Balance and PPT providing outstanding service to well-known chilled manufacture’s. On the job training is provided using the variety of Fork Lift Trucks. Shifts: 4on 4 off – 12 hour shifts ( Days/Nights/Rotating) Pay Rate: £9.25- £10.50 per hour The role includes: • Picking • Goods In • Returns • Outbound Loading • Low level marshalling • De-top/Pallet inversion/ Rework • Assemble customer orders from the order profile • Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely on to pallets in line with • warehouse procedures • Stretch wrap completed order and present to marshalling area as appropriate • Operate to the required performance in line with KPIs and area working in • Adhere to clean as you go policy with a special focus on the company’s recycling and waste • management program • Other ad hoc duties as reasonably required • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures Desirable skills and experience: • Experience of using a hand pallet truck • Experience of the safe operation of an electric powered pallet truck • Experience of the safe operation of an electric ride on powered pallet truck • Counter Balance forklift truck • Reach truck • Use of radio data terminal (RDT) Please contact our Industrial team on 01908 048030/ 07864054067 to arrange an interview or pop in between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday to register: Address: 203 sovereign court, witan gate East, MK9 2HP Documents required: One of the following: passport/ ID card/ Birth certificate Prof of address Prof of national insurance Please Note; All candidates are required to complete a drug and Alcohol test as part of the clients recruitment process.
