Care Assistant - Free DBS and Full Training provided

Care Assistants - Handforth Salary: £9.50 to £10.00 per hour, plus 20p per mile. As a result of continued business growth and successfully securing a new contract with Cheshire East Council, Medacs Healthcare is now recruiting for domiciliary care assistants in Handforth . We are looking to recruit, caring, dedicated and professional individuals, who have a desire to support our elderly, vulnerable adults, in and around the community by assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, light housework and other ad-hoc duties as required. Duties to include: Assistance with personal care. Assistance with prompting/administering medication. Meal preparation. Light housework. Report writing. Our carers must be flexible, have a positive approach to work, have a desire to help others and be friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and possess a "can do" attitude. (You must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per week). All our care workers will be required to work alternate weekends. A full enhanced DBS check will be required, Free enhanced DBS checks to be provided for new applicants before 30th June 2020.
