Overview

Our client is currently seeking to engage a skilled Azure B2C Consultant to join their team on a contractor basis in Coventry. The Microsoft Azure B2C consultant will work as part of a team, leveraging their knowledge and expertise to create user-focused solutions and forward-thinking software design. In this role, you will: Apply modern development standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, security standards, usability design standards, as appropriate. Ability to analyse client applications and identity practices to identify appropriate solutions. Author functional requirements and technical design documentation to deliver IdAM solutions cantered on Azure B2C. Leading the implementation phase, directing and coordinating build and configuration work where required. Input into detailed technical design and operational architecture documents to match the solution design specifications. Support, improve monitor, troubleshoot and problem resolution of IdAM service and related incident. Ideal candidates will demonstrate: NB: Please note that this list is non-exhaustive, and employees and workers may be required to perform such other roles as the Company considers appropriate including for any Associated Company, with prior consultation Extensive demonstrated experience and knowledge of architecting and implementing Azure B2C, at scale, within the confines of applicable security standards and frameworks relating to IdAM. Strong front end development experience including the use of node.js (ver. 10). Knowledge of SAML V1 and V2. Good understanding of network layer security, PKI concepts, and cryptographic technologies (e.g. hashing, signing, encryption, TLS). Experience of working within a Secure-SDLC framework for software engineering and development of an IdAM solution. Desirable skills: Experience in the design, managing and deployment of IdAM solutions, including governance, provisioning and authentication around OpenID Connect from a hands-on engineering perspective ideally in complex environments of plus one million identities is beneficial. Experience or knowledge of ID Management Policy, Governance and tools, such as Oath 2.0 & OIDC, SAML, XML is beneficial. Experience in designing / building citizen facing services following the Digital by Default Service Standard (DbDSS) or general public sector type projects. Benefits Excellent day rates on offer
