Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure) Global brand, Nottingham City Centre, Up to £50K I am currently working alongside one of biggest players within the tech industry, I'm looking for an Azure enthusiast to support their Cloud-Native engineering strategy on a global scale as my client accelerate their adoption of Public Cloud services. Alongside deep technical knowledge of the cloud arena you'll also be able to provide a hands on approach to your work. This is a lead role where you will oversee a small yet growing team of talented Cloud technologists… Its an exciting time as the look to grow a team of the very best highly skilled engineers to help build, develop, and operate large-scale public cloud environments. These guys utilise everything Cloud so you'll play a key role in supporting the way that they work with not only Azure but also GCP, and AWS. You'll be used in working in a DevOps fashion to deliver new technologies and have a good handle on tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Git & Terraform. You'll need to work smart and fast with the ability to learn as you go You'll also thrive from working in an fast-paced environment where requirements will often change at a moments notice Technically you'll come from a proven Cloud engineering background working with Azure utilising Agile and DevOps methodologies and have the ability to write clean code (ideally Python or another OOP language) Terraform exposure wouldn't go a miss You will be passionate about new trends and upcoming innovations in cloud, storage and data engineering. I want to see an Engineer who isn't fazed by new challenges, but instead thrives from devising smart solutions to novel problems. I want somebody who isn't thinking traditionally and is obsessed with the latest going ons in the Cloud arena. I'm looking for an accomplished engineer who is very much at the top of their game and can bring a "thought leader" mentality to the role in relation to engaging and educating the wider business in emerging Cloud technology and essentially use their knowledge to drive the company forward.
