More About you Ideally, you will already have experience of working as a qualified Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant or Care Team Leader within a care home environment and with at least two years’ experience in Health Care. You’ll be a positive role-model for your team of Care Assistants and someone who can evidence a journey of personal development, having already attained a Diploma Level or NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or already be part-way through the Level 3. You will be committed to completing the Level 3 with Colten Care. All-round superheroes considered, so please get in touch More About the role As the Senior Care Lead, you will take a leading role in the administration of medication, care planning, taking responsibility for infection control audits and ‘buddying’ for the training and supervisions of new staff. Full training will be given before you take up these responsibilities. Working closely with the health care teams, under the direction of the Nurse, you will lead by example to help ensure that our residents receive an excellent standard of care to lead happy and fulfilling lives. You will regularly review and update written care plans, ensuring that individual resident requirements are carried out by the care teams in a confidential and sensitive way. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the personal care of residents, their individual needs and overall physical and intellectual well-being, reporting any decline or concerns to the Nurses as required.
