Overview
One of the fastest growing companies in the UK are looking for an experienced Systems Software Engineer to join their growing team in Farnborough. They are at the forefront of technology and operate in one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK with their products soon to have a huge impact on everyday life. They are funded by various different bodies so will not be effected by all of the current turmoil. Responsibilities: - Development of algorithms to improve product performance. - Development of internal & customer tools to support company products - Support of internal and external customers including occasional travel Qualifications, Experience and Competencies - Competent software Engineer able to work at both a low level (drivers) and high level (GUI development). Skills covering: oC / C++ development for embedded applications oPython for PC tools and test script development oSource Control, Issue tracking (JIRA), continuous integration. oInstrument control (VISA) - Good understanding of RF and baseband hardware. - Good communicator familiar with working across multiple locations and time zones.
