Job Title: Audit Senior Industry: Accounting Location: Exeter Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Reference Number:14664 Job Description: Recruit UK are collaborating with a chartered accounting firm based in Exeter who is looking to take on a part-qualified or newly qualified Audit & Accounts professional to join their Audit department. You will be reporting to an Audit and Assurance Services Partner and will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a wide range of diverse clients. You must be able to develop strong relationships with clients and play an important role in helping win new clients for the firm. Your main duties as an Audit Senior: The planning, managing, controlling and conducting of audit fieldwork for a portfolio of client’s, whilst being under the direction of the audit partner and manager group. Preparation of financial statements. Build and maintain client relationships. Understanding technical matters and presenting them in a coherent and practical manner. Technical research and provide advice for clients and other members of the firm as and when needed. What’s in it for you: 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. Skills and experience required: ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified with a good level of experience of working within an audit & accounts team. Good level of knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards. You must be able to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. You will be able to create and operate complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and be competent in Word and Outlook. Experienced in Proaudit software is desirable. Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounts software is also desirable.
