Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Kent / South East London £55,000 Highly successful Building Services Division of a national property & engineering consultancy are seeking to appoint a two Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their Kent / South East London office. The successful mechanical design engineer will join a division which was established in 2008 & has progressed to over 60 engineers across 3 locations, with numerous individuals developing their careers from expanding their technical expertise, completing additional qualifications & moving into management & partner level roles. Entering the next stage of their expansion, and with succession planning a key issue, they are looking for a individuals to play a key role in the delivery of projects and are able to offer opportunity for advancement - be if from a technical and / or managerial perspective. Reporting into a MEP Partner you will have the autonomy to lead & deliver a range of projects across the residential, mixed-use, educational, commercial & industrial markets. Your responsibilities will incorporate; Management of commissions from brief development through design & to completion, Develop and present HVAC design proposals to project team & client, Undertake surveys to include; stock condition, site inspection, energy performance evaluation, Production of technical specifications, designs, reports & contract documentation, Assist in the mentoring and development of junior engineers, To be considered individuals will need to hold formal qualifications in a related mechanical engineering or building services engineering subject, while also fulfilling the following criteria; Some experienced in the design & delivery of HVAC solutions for residential, mixed use or commercial projects, Keen to continue your professional development keeping up to-date with developments in engineering, Confident within a client facing role attending meeting and representing the company across MEP, What's on offer?
