Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a leading distribution business based in Sheffield who are looking to bring on an experienced Credit Risk Analyst. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in credit risk, has experience in reading and interpreting financial information, as well as being decisive and comfortable justifying decisions. The company have seen a sustained period of growth which has enabled them to grow out their finance function in recent years to be one of the largest in the region, with excellent progression opportunities. Duties: - Enable profitable business through analysis of risk - Identify marginal and high-risk customers early and take necessary action to safeguard further sales - Analyse financial statements and generate financial ratios - Ensure that risk analysis is completed for all customers - Ensure that the customer account carries an accurate credit limit recommendation - Liaise with the credit insurer or insurance brokers to ensure the appropriate sharing of relevant information and concerns - Ensure that the various data sources used for analysis of the customer ledgers are always the most accurate - Ensure that an accurate risk profile for every customer is always available - Ensure that the Division Credit Risk Register is updated on a weekly basis - Ensure that the credit risk categorisation is clearly visible on the customer account Requirements: - Experience within Credit Control - specifically credit risk desirable - Have experience working within a large finance function - Good Excel skills - Ideally studying CICM - Experience working with complex systems This is an excellent opportunity working for a secure, reputable business.
