Overview
This is a newly-created role within a successful and growing accountancy firm based in Wolverhampton. The Assistant Manager will lead the Audit cycle for a newly won account within the business. The role offers broad exposure to the wider business, progression opportunities and a fantastic working culture that allows brilliant work life balance. As the successful Assistant Manager, you will be a qualified Accountant, with a good technical accounting background, strong academics and an ambitious and driven personality. Experience within audit is key for the role. The Assistant Manager we seek will be highly numerate, analytical and thorough, able to work on your own initiative, and able to manage a number of projects simultaneously. You will be a self-starter, who enjoys problem-solving, and providing solutions. This role is attracting a base salary of up to £42,000 DOE, plus a defined contributory pension scheme, ongoing professional training and development.
