Charge Nurse - small ward CQC compliant private hospital West Sussex £40,000 Permanent - Full Time Eclypse Recruitment is searching for a Charge Nurse for a private mental health service in West Sussex to lead a small dedicated DBT ward. Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK with hospitals and treatment centres around the country. This particular large service offers specialist mental health servives including Secure Services, a DBT Locked Rehabilitation service, HDU Services and Acute care. As Charge Nurse you will be based on the DBT ward which provides specialist care for those with personality disorders. As Charge Nurse you will lead and manage the service users and junior staff DUTIES Being a clear leader for the nursing team on the ward and managing shifts Deputising for the Ward Manager providing cover and assisting with the day to day management of the ward and team Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress Mentoring, supporting and supervising student nurses and other members of the team Carrying out coordination duties when required ESSENTIAL CRITERIA NMC registration - active nursing qualification RMN/ RNLD/ RNMH Experience in a senior nursing role demonstrating supervisory level experience A commitment to patient-centred care within this specialist field of mental and complex nursing Excellent package salary £40,000 DOE and many incentives including welcome bonus, attractive holiday allowance with increase in service, bonuses, free meals, parking, support and investment with CPD, NMC renewal plus many more Please submit CV with interest in this fantastic opportunity This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89730936
