If you love helping people, then we have the perfect role for you We are recruiting for Support Workers within our Supported living services in Fife. So, if you are a person-centred compassionate individual who likes a different challenge every day, if you feel you can support people with complex communication and support needs to live an individual and interesting life then we would love to hear from you Meet the team at Finglassie The service supports 8 adults across two adjoining bungalows with four people living in each house. Sense Scotland supports them with their tenancies and provides 24hr support within all aspects of their personal and social living. The service is a purpose-built bungalow with a large garden that is ideal for people with multiple sensory impairment, mobility issues and additional learning disability. A core team are based in the service with two Supervisors onsite and a Locality manager nearby. The physical needs of the supported individuals are unique to them but do include Epilepsy, diabetes, gastrostomy and cerebral palsy. The supported individuals are assisted with social integration and support to access the community through a range of activities which include swimming, rebound therapy, ice hockey, social events, concerts, and education. Working closely with the individual's families and the local authority social work department to ensure if there are any changes to support needs, we can meet these needs promptly.
