Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to strengthen the existing team, you will include but will not be limited to: Working with QA Manager to implement full QA system throughout production areas To collect micro samples for finished products and ensure that all samples are registered and sent to lab for testing; To ensure out of micro results are retested according to the procedure in the place; Fully understand and assist in cascading the QA system to all employees within the production areas. (Goods In, Low Care, High Care, Picking & Dispatch) Liaise with Production Managers and Supervisors to ensure the highest standard of food safety and quality To document all process deviations and non-conforming products Daily GMP/Fabrication/Product/Quality audits To ensure all daily documents and paperwork are checked and verified Internal audits completed to BRC QMS Carry out Induction training and any other reasonable tasks that are required as part of the needs of the business. Liaise with suppliers with regard to product quality and specification. Coach and mentor production operatives on the correct completion of all QA paperwork. The ideal candidate must have: Experience of working in a similar role within a chilled food manufacturing environment Strong communication skills, both verbally and written Good attention to detail
