Overview
On behalf of a market leading retail business in Croydon I am recruiting for a new temporary accounts payable specialist to joint their expanding accounts payable team. Client Details Page are proud to be working with a hugely successful Retail company who are experiencing a very exciting period of growth. As a result of this growth they are looking for an immediately available Credit Controller to join their accountancy team and help chase aged debt in their Croydon office. This role is an ongoing temporary assignment for at least 3 months but strong potential for it to go on longer. Description Chasing invoices ranging from £20 up to £50,000 from a varied client base Handling customer queries and only escalating when necessary Making at least 40 calls per day Building new client relationships as well as maintaining existing ones Liaising with Sales team to understand each account Allocating cash to accounts Assessing credit worthiness and setting new customers up onto the system Running a disputes review on a weekly basis Getting involved with cash flow forecasting Assisting the Credit Manager in their duties Profile At least 2 year's experience in Credit Control but no more than 6 Must be immediately available to start new role Ambitious and driven - someone looking for the next step in their career Strong attention to detail Brilliant communication skills both written and verbal Intermediate Excel skills Confident in picking up the phone Job Offer A brilliant opportunity for an immediately available Credit Controller to join a market leading Retail company.
