Front End Tech Lead. React. Startup. A superb opportunity has arisen for an exciting technology start-up that has already got their product into production and with a client base that is growing globally daily. Now they are looking to build out their in-house dev function starting with a Tech Lead. A remote role offering 4xdays a week from home Client Details The client are product based business who are a tech start up with huge plans. A start up that values talent over experience, with the belief that empowerment of employees is the single most important thing to business growth. They are offering the opportunity to set up and manage their product development team, with the potential of share options. After recently making the decision to bring their software development 'in house' after outsourcing the product development for the past two years, this is an opportunity to be the first development employee, with a view to shaping the development strategy and leading a development team. Description This role is based in Newbury and reports directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for building and maintaining their software product and contributing to the company's strategic objectives, while delivering code within tight deadlines and working with the Product Manager to design solutions for our customers. A great opportunity to build out your legacy and influence key business, product and technical decisions with a seat at the table. This is still however a very much hands on role. New features and customisation will need to be designed, managed and produced by you. Once you are settled in the role you will then be given the opportunity to build a team around you. Profile The ideal candidate will come from a strong development background with more recent focus on the JavaScript stack. The current stack is: Angular Node.js Typescript MongoDB Postgres AWS (EC2, Redis, S3, RDS) As an experienced developer you previous life may have been with any OOP language but your key focus now must include the desire to work with JavaScript.
